Jim Stirling, GM3UWX, from the Paisley Club, gave us an interesting roundup of the Paisley Club's efforts to provide a Foundation Course to encourage new amateurs into the hobby. Currently the Paisley Club are instructing about fifteen pupils through the course with the view to sitting the exam soon.
As a club, we are considering the possibility of providing our own Foundation License course. Jim's advice and tips will come in handy should we choose to embark on the project.
