19th October, 2001: Chairman GM3AXX

The CQWW SSB contest is on a week tomorrow - so members are welcome (as usual) to visit the shack and participate using the club station! Members taking part are welcome to use contacts made in this contest as points in the Alex McGill competition.

The 2001 Club Social night will take place on the 14th December. Pictures of last year's event can be seen here.

There will be a visit to the Scottish Power Wind Turbine site on the 6th November 2001. More details available from GM3AXX.

The Construction Contest will be held and judged the week before the Social Night, on the 7th December. The winner will be presented with the cup at the Social night.

GM0WRR, John, had a surprise interview from GM3AXX, which provided much amusement!
