I built my first transmitter in 1943, and tried it out on the "home service" frequency! I got a squeal from the radio set down below me, and thought that the Post Office would be round right away! After that I built most of the circuts in turn in the Radio Circuits book by F.J.Camm. I moved to Scotland in 1947 from Cornwall and studied Electrical and Electronics subjects. My interests are in windmills, electric cars, acoustics and propagation of radio waves. Anything technical really! |
Eric recently visited Malta, and during his visit, visited the Malta Amateur Radio League (9H1MRL). He took a picture, and has this short message for the members: -
